Brock and Colborne Streets two-way conversion begins July 21

Following a Feasibility Study and public consultation, Oshawa City Council recently approved converting Colborne St. E. (from Centre St. N. to Division St.) and Brock St. E. (from Simcoe St. N. to Division St.) from one-way to two-way traffic operations.
Why: The City will be undertaking the process of repainting and re-signing these streets for two-way traffic.

Details: Replacement of the Culvert along Howden Road West approximately 800m east of Thornton Road North.
Construction July 2025 to September 2025
The City of Oshawa has awarded Contract No. O 25-09 to Sierra Excavating Enterprises Inc. The work will include the replacement of the Howden Road West Culvert (Structure No. 000324). The work shall include but is not limited to:
- Excavation and removal of existing structure;
- Temporary flow bypass and dewatering measures;
